NX2Apple · unofficial guide
Install overview
There is one launcher download: the macOS arm64 app from GitHub Releases. Windows and Linux GUIs are out of scope. iPhone play starts only after you build on the Mac and sideload.

Supported platforms in plain language
NX2Apple’s guided experience centers on an Apple silicon Mac. That Mac runs the unsigned launcher zip, performs dependency checks, and executes the build pipeline that nxnative powers under the hood. Intel Macs are not covered by the published arm64 zip described here. There is no Steam Deck, Windows, or generic Linux GUI path in this guide, even though some related community forks experiment elsewhere. iPhone and iPad are targets of a successful build, not places where you install the macOS launcher itself. After the Mac finishes an iPhone / iPad build, you sideload with whatever signing workflow you already trust — Xcode, AltStore, or similar — following the on-screen steps the app prints. If you only want to play on the Mac, you can stop at a This Mac build and never touch sideloading.
- macOS on Apple silicon — required to run the launcher and build games
- iPhone / iPad — after a successful iOS-oriented build and sideload
- No Windows, Linux, or Steam Deck install page on this site
How install relates to setup
Install gets the app onto your Mac and past Gatekeeper. Setup is the ordered list that follows: tools, Xcode selection, prod.keys, dumps, and the first Build. People often bounce between these pages because Gatekeeper questions feel like install problems while missing keys feel like setup problems. Use the macOS guide when the zip will not open; use Setup when the app opens but cannot build; use Troubleshoot when a previously working install breaks after an update. Releases explains which Asset to pick when filenames differ between tags. Keep a short local path for the unzipped app and for build caches when possible; network drives and aggressive cloud sync folders create confusing permission failures that look like broken installs.
Before you download checklist
Confirm you have enough free disk for the zip, the engine tooling the app manages, at least one game dump, and temporary build output. Confirm Xcode is available if you plan to build immediately. Confirm you already possess dumps and keys — this site will not help you locate them. Personal backup and circumvention rules differ by country. You are responsible for knowing the law where you live. Never distribute dumps, keys, firmware, or the packages you build. If you enjoy a game, buy it from legitimate storefronts. This independent guide does not provide a ROM search, key database, or firmware mirror.

What success looks like
A successful macOS install ends with the launcher opening after a one-time Gatekeeper confirmation, a setup wizard that can check dependencies, and a clear path into Build. A successful iPhone path ends with a sideloaded app that launches, shows launch options if needed, and reaches Play without asking this website for files. If the Direct download link fails, opening Assets on the GitHub release is still a successful install path — we intentionally do not host a mirror that could go stale. When Releases require an update, reinstalling over an older app or using in-app update checks is part of staying installed correctly, not an optional nicety.
This site is not official. We do not host installers, prod.keys, firmware, or game dumps. Downloads go to GitHub Releases. Bring your own legally obtained dumps and keys.
FAQ
- Where do I start if I am brand new?
- Download on Home or Release, follow Install → macOS, then Setup. Use iPhone steps only after a device build exists.
- Do I install anything on the phone first?
- You do not install the macOS launcher on iPhone. Build on Mac, then sideload the result.
- Is compile-from-source required?
- No for normal users. Prebuilt zip is the guided path.
- Why is there no Windows page?
- This product guide covers the published Apple silicon macOS launcher. Other platforms are out of scope here.
